Four of the S Line’s 13 trains from Seattle's King Street Station to Lakewood and Tacoma are canceled and two of the N Line’s trains to Everett are canceled.

Brutal cold and an even more brutal commute were the reality for commuters who usually take Sound Transit’s Sounder train early Thursday morning.

Sound Transit announced some of its morning Sounder train service are canceled Thursday because of preventative maintenance scheduling issues with Amtrak.

Sound Transit has announced that some of its services for the Sounder S Lines have resumed after morning cancellations. The S line service was cancelled around 4:36 a.m. and the N line service was cancelled at 6:15 a.m. As of this writing, the N Line has reopened.
