After more than 9 inches of snow fell in Philadelphia on Sunday, the region will need some time to get back to normal. PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The snow has transitioned to sleet and freezing rain after a major winter storm pummeled the Philadelphia region on Sunday. A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until Monday afternoon. Snow emergencies for Philadelphia and other communities in Pennsylvania are still in effect until further notice.
