The outdoor movie theater, set up in the parking lot next to Franklin Field in Ballpark Commons, is starting the season with a 1990s double feature.

The city directory listed the eatery as "Milki-way Drive-in" each year, but the Kirkman yearbook ad used the correct spelling of "Milky Way" - wouldn't want to get into trouble with a teacher.

Milwaukee will get its first new drive-in in forever next week, when the Milky Way Drive-In opens at Ballpark Commons in Franklin.
