The Indianapolis Colts are tied for the NFL's best record, but they have plenty of company: Power rankings, playoff picture

The New York Jets reportedly dealt star cornerback Sauce Gardner to the Indianapolis Colts in exchange for two first-round picks (2026 and 2027) and wide receiver Adonai Mitchell. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport first reported the news Tuesday and Gardner confirmed it with a post on X.

The Colts are the unexpected success of this year's season -- at 7-2 they are tied for the most wins entering Week 10 and lead the league in several offensive categories. And, as of Tuesday's trade deadline, their defense got a big lift when Indy traded for two-time All-Pro CB Sauce Gardner.

One Colts' defender has been downgraded to out, while two other players were added to the Week 9 roster from the practice squad.
