Some of the best Captain America comics of all time have also formed the basis of some of the best MCU movies of all time, and now Sam Wilson will take over the mantle in his first solo movie, Captain America: Brave New World.

The Twisted Metal star recently disclosed why the cowl was removed from his Captain America costume in Captain America 4. In an interview with IGN, the host asked Anthony Mackie about why Marvel Studios decided to remove the “white half-helmet look.” He told the outlet that the cowl was removed because of his request.
