La'an Noonien-Singh was able to put the Gorn behind her in the Season 3 premiere of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, and it didn't take long for the Paramount+ series to find her a new storyline. The lieutenant seems to have entered a spicy new romance with one of her colleagues on the ship, though I'm not sure how I feel about it.

Like "Strange New Worlds" season 1 episode "The Elysian Kingdom" (when the Enterprise crew was brainwashed into acting like fantasy storybook characters), the episode shows the regular cast play different characters than usual.

Strange New Worlds season 3 episode 5 will come out on Thursday, August 7, 2025, at 12 am PT/3 am ET. Going forward, new episodes will come out every Thursday.
