The Oakland Police Department said the shooting happened just before 1:30 p.m. on the campus on Skyline Boulevard in the East Oakland hills. Officers arrived to find one juvenile who had been shot, and the person was taken to a hospital in stable condition,

A shooting was reported at the Oakland Hills school shortly after 1:30 p.m. The victim was taken to a hospital and is expected to survive.

Oakland Mayor Barbara Lee said she has been in "close contact" with police after a student was shot Wednesday afternoon at Skyline High School and two young people were arrested.
