What is an 'aura farm' and what does 'skibidi' actually mean? Some Gen Z terms have made it into the dictionary, but many have surprising, weird and even dark origins

The word “lewk” was added to Cambridge this year, three years after it was added to Merriam-Webster and more than a decade after it was popularized by fashion influencers and drag queens. Another addition was “inspo,” a term that has referred to inspirational online images since the early days of Instagram.

The dictionary has added over 6,000 words and phrases this year including many terms that have become popular online like 'delulu,' 'skibidi' and 'tradwife.'
