Is the new “Fantastic Four” movie fantastic? No, and not everyone will love the amount of downtime in this one. But good is good enough for a Marvel superhero movie these days.
The Fantastic Four have traditionally struggled with the transition to the big screen.
With Reed, Sue, Johnny, and Ben once again clobberin' their way into our hearts, we've decided to rank the four (yes, four) Fantastic Four movies that came before this. Where will The Fantastic Four: First Steps ultimately rank on this list?

But it was a little odd to hear that Marvel also planned to make the Fantastic Four a major part of the MCU’s future. Even though the Fantastic Four have always been prominent in Marvel’s comics, the characters — created by Jack Kirby and Stan Lee — had never translated well to the big screen.
