Nicole Scherzinger, a Youth Performing Arts School 1996 graduate, won this year’s best female actress in a Broadway musical trophy at the Tony Awards.

"People just want to pit us Broadway gals against each other, and I think it’s sad," the "Oh, Mary!" actor said.
