Patty and Carl Jimenez’s home is lighting up the Valley this holiday season with a densely packed Christmas display now earning national recognition.

Phoenix-area motorists should watch for ramp closures during the first weekend of December, throughout major freeways in the Valley, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

Higher elevation communities in southern Gila County have a freeze warning in effect from 2 a.m. to 9 a.m. Friday, when lows could fall to or below 32 degrees. Most of Phoenix will stay above freezing, but some neighborhoods will wake up to notably chilly temperatures.
