Madhya Pradesh witnessed widespread protests and shutdowns in response to a terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. Several cities, including Bhopal and Indore, held protests and observed bandhs.

The houses of three more terrorists have been razed by the security forces in Jammu and Kashmir in the aftermath of the Pahalgam terror attack that killed 26 tourists, mostly Hindus, in the popular tourist spot on April 22,
