The highest chances for hot and rainy weather are in Florida's Panhandle on Friday, but no tropical weather is expected.

This year, the NHC announced it would issue PTC designations 72 hours out, instead of 48 hours. This will give even more prep time for systems that develop close to the coast.

The chance of tropical or subtropical development is low, but localized heavy rain is still expected from Florida to the coastal Carolinas.
