Pete Rose is off the MLB ineligible list and permitted for Hall of Fame consideration. The Cincinnati Reds are taking advantage of the moment. As luck would have it, the Reds already had "Pete Rose Night" scheduled for Wednesday,
"Absolutely pathetic they waited for Pete Rose to pass away before giving him his day in the sun," Gary Sheffield Jr. tweeted. "Reprehensible."
Ahead of Pete Rose Night at Great American Ballpark, White Sox utility man Josh Rojas said MLB reinstating Rose is better late than never, but he wishes Rose was still alive to see it happen.
