From teams to players to positions to the venue, here are my biggest winners and losers after the first three rounds on Sunday.

Levi Huesman (16th round) and Jonathan Vastine (19th round). Three Commodores signees (Seth Hernandez, Sean Gamble and Slater de Brun) were taken in the first round and one (Cooper Flemming) in the second round.

Round after round passed and Novi star left-hander Uli Fernsler and Birmingham Brother Rice right-hander Blake Ilitch didn’t hear their name called.

Another year, another successful draft for MLB Develops. Four alumni from the program -- all shortstops -- were selected in the first round of Sunday’s MLB Draft, including shortstop Eli Willits, who went first overall to the Nationals.

ATLANTA — The first three rounds of the 2025 MLB Draft took place Sunday in Atlanta. Although there were no draftees in attendance — a disappointing, if intriguing, circumstance to monitor for the event moving forward — this year’s draft still provided plenty of excitement and surprising moments that will help shape the league for years to come.
