LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Lexington police have launched a homicide investigation. Police say officers were dispatched to a home on the 1800 block of Darien Drive, which runs between Alexandria Drive and Lane Allen Road, for an unresponsive individual around 1:25 p.m. Tuesday.

The Lexington Police Department found the man after being called around 1:30 p.m. to a residence in the 1800 block of Darien Drive.

Lexington Police officers are asking for help identifying someone who was involved in a vandalism incident at Taco Bell last month, said officers.

According to a statement from the department, officers have closed some nearby roads as a precaution to ensure the safety of the surrounding community. Police are also assisting with traffic in the area.

The shooting happened around 4 a.m. Sunday on Winchester Road. Three people were shot, and one woman sustained life-threatening injuries.
