Duke kicker Todd Pelino had a 26-yard run on a fake field goal late that set up Duke's go-ahead late touchdown to beat rival North Carolina on Saturday.

Duke retained the Victory Bell and achieved bowl game eligibility via a 32-25 hard fought victory over North Carolina in Chapel Hill. Duke was committed to running the football for the entire game with Nate Sheppard leading the way with 90 yards on 22 carries followed by Anderson Castle with 49 yards and three touchdowns

The Tar Heels’ offense ranks 131st in the Football Bowl Subdivision, managing just 289.9 total yards and 18.7 points per game.
