As of 3:45 p.m., nearly 5,000 users of the former Twitter were having problems, according to DownDetector.com, which monitors website issues. Over 50% of the complaints were over the website and just over 35% were experiencing problems on mobile.
X seems to finally be recovering from a data center outage that brought down the site for some users Thursday and caused lingering issues into Friday. According to posts on the company's developer platform page, a "site-wide outage" that began at 11AM PT on Thursday, May 22, had "been resolved" as of 10:35 AM PT Friday morning.
Social media platform X was hit by a two-hour outage Saturday, prompting owner Elon Musk to say he needs to spend more time focusing on his companies.
