Real estate brokerage company Compass has filed a lawsuit against Zillow, claiming the popular real estate website is refusing to accept home listings for properties that have been initially advertised for sale elsewhere.

Compass has had enough with Zillow's efforts to force real estate listings to be posted on their platform or else.

Compass has officially brought a long-simmering real estate dispute into the courtroom. On Monday, the real estate brokerage sued home-search website Zillow, accusing it of engaging in an anticompetitive conspiracy to maintain its dominance over digital home listings.
