Badlands trailer is full of alien beasts, gorgeous sci-fi vistas, and a Yautja hero who finds an unlikely ally in a synthetic.

Badlands, the creature is one of the good guys now. In short: We're rooting for the Predator this time. Taking a page out of the Terminator 2: Judgment Day playbook, Predator: Badlands flips the script on the series formula when a new Predator named Dek (Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi) teams up with an android (played by Elle Fanning) to hunt down something massive.

One of the more surprising things about the promotional rollout for "Predator: Badlands" was the reveal that Elle Fanning appeared to be playing a Weyland-Yutani android; something usually reserved for the "Alien" movies.
