Waco Independent School District trustees on Tuesday chose education specialist Arash Abnoussi as the District 2 trustee to replace Stephanie Korteweg, who resigned from the post last month.

After hours of interviews and discussions the Waco ISD Board of Trustees has now appointed Arash Abnoussi as their new board member for District 2.
