Colts QB Anthony Richardson missed last week due to a previously existing disc issue that caused back spasms. Team hopeful he can play vs Jaguars

Indianapolis Colts second-year quarterback Anthony Richardson was ruled out of the team's Week 17 loss to the New York Giants with back spasms. Upon announcing the injury, the Colts said that Richardson was dealing with "soreness" that was precluding him from playing.

When meeting with reporters on Wednesday morning, head coach Shane Steichen said that he is "hopeful" that Indianapolis Colts' quarterback Anthony Richardson can play in the season finale against Jacksonville on Sunday.
