Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg has won a Democratic primary in his bid for a second term. The New York prosecutor oversaw the historic hush-money case against President Donald Trump.

Alvin L. Bragg, Manhattan’s incumbent district attorney, won the race for the Democratic nomination on Tuesday, The Associated Press reported. He moves on to a general election that his two challengers have cast as a referendum on his record.

Bragg was expected to win the primary and will likely win reelection in November in heavily-blue New York County.
