There are camp sites if you hike to the top, not sure how many, they are part of an area I think called henninger flat
Q:
I have an 8 month old, would I be able to take a stroller on this trail?
A:
Hi we just went after the rains. Your feet will be drenched and sometimes the water was knee high during at least half a dozen creek crossings

How many miles from the parking area to the falls?
A:
I am guessing 1 1/2
Q:
Is this an appropriate hike for a 2 and 4 year old?
A:
The first 30 minutes from parking lot are flat. I think there is a falls if you stay on the flat part. The climb to top is probably too much.
Q:
They open at 9am? Isnt that a little late?
A:
No... that might be the Visitor's Center and parking lot. There are several access points to the trails that are always open. One is at Midwick and Altadena Drive another is off Cresent.
